What Happened
Buyers taking delivery of existing stock vehicles before October can deduct up to 10,000 yuan from their settlement balance. Tesla designated a 10,000-yuan concession for every ready Model Y, while existing Model 3 units receive a 5,000-yuan price adjustment.
Selected configurations also gain an 8,000-yuan paint allowance alongside a matching insurance reimbursement of 8,000 yuan when arranged through partnered carriers. The Performance grade of the Model 3 is excluded from the insurance program.

5years
available with 79,900 yuan minimum down payment
Financing terms announced on Tesla's official Weibo account feature five-year interest-free loans requiring a 79,900-yuan initial deposit on non-Performance Model 3 trims, resulting in monthly installments starting from 2,377 yuan. Alternative extended terms running six or seven years carry annualized interest rates down to 0.98 percent.
Why this matters
The promotional push seeks to stimulate domestic retail demand during the closing weeks of the third quarter. While Shanghai exports have sustained overall wholesale volume, local deliveries fell nearly 33 percent year-on-year in July.
