What Happened

ZF and SiliconAuto jointly showcased a new I/O interface chip and microcontroller design for automotive high-performance computers at Embedded World 2026. The system consists of ZF's I/O interface chip integrated with SiliconAuto's XMotiv™ M3 microcontroller, providing real-time sensor data acquisition and pre-processing for ADAS and automated driving. The solution is agnostic to the choice of high-performance SoC, enabling OEMs to use standardized high-speed interfaces like Ethernet or PCIe.
