What Happened
Bentley has announced a new partnership with Tutto Bene, created with automotive culture hub Race Service and Milan design studio BorromeodeSilva, starting with a new annual event called Stazione Remota during Monterey Car Week. The inaugural invite-only event takes place in Carmel Valley on the Saturday of the week, designed for car enthusiasts across every part of car culture. The event will feature test drives, live entertainment, a Bentley listening room, and coffee from the Joe & The Juice Bentayga.
Among the vehicles at Stazione Remota will be the Bentayga X concept, previewing a possible off-road-focused Bentley, and 'Joe's Bentayga', painted pink and dark green with a working Joe & The Juice espresso bar in the trunk. The new Supersports, described as the driver-focused pinnacle of the Continental range, will appear in the 'Dragon' livery of Black Crystal and Dragon Red II. The original 1926 Supersports, one of only 18 built and known as 'Smoky', will also be shown — modified for racing in 1934 with a 4½-litre engine and raced 40 times by driver Kit Baker-Carr. This is Smoky's first visit to the United States in its 100-year history.
Bentley will offer test drives in modern Continental GT and Bentayga models, and the newly updated Flying Spur will appear fresh from The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering the day before. A listening room with a live DJ playing vinyl will continue Bentley's long-standing connection with music. The partnership with Tutto Bene will continue after Monterey Car Week, with more details to follow.
“As Bentley continues to evolve its role in the world of car culture, we’re delighted to join with Tutto Bene and to start our collaboration with a wholly new event in Monterey. Combining cars – and not just Bentleys – with friends old and new, outstanding coffee and new conversations is one of the ways we continue to make Bentley more relevant and more accessible.”
“Tutto Bene is born out of the desire to make car culture relevant for a younger generation, celebrating our shared love for all things automotive. Our motto is ‘Slow Down to Go Fast’: we propose a friendly, inclusive and relaxed approach to the classic event formula, where Californian and Italian aesthetics and lifestyles blend seamlessly to generate something new and universal. It is a great plea”
