Denza has published the four interior palettes for its new five-seat N8 electric SUV, two days before Chinese buyers can place blind orders.

What Happened
Denza, the premium marque owned by BYD, released the interior colour options for the all-new N8 on 24 October 2026 from Shenzhen, framing the vehicle as a wide-body five-seat SUV. The timing is deliberate: blind orders open across China two days later. This generation drops the three-row arrangement of the earlier N8 in favour of a strict two-row, five-seat layout. Customer handovers are scheduled to begin nationwide in November.
- Moon over Empty Mountain: light beige paired with deep blue in a two-tone finish.
- Morning Mist Beige: a single low-saturation beige, described as soft and warm.
- Dawn Red: a bright, warm reddish upholstery drawn from sunrise tones.
- Evening Plain Brown: a rich dark brown meant to feel calm and composed.
Denza says the palettes take their inspiration from classical Chinese landscape imagery. Each is combined with real open-pore wood trim, and the air vents are hidden rather than left on show. Metal speaker grilles are set into the door panels, which also house the switches for powered seat adjustment.
The dashboard is dominated by two screens. A panoramic head-up display 1.1 metres wide stretches along the bottom of the windscreen, a fitment Denza bills as a global first, and a 30-inch touchscreen sits at the centre. Between the front occupants floats a centre console carrying a crystal gear selector cut with 64 facets, wireless charging pads and a set of physical toggles.

Why this matters
The N8 marks a shift for Denza's mid-to-large electric SUV from three rows of seats to two, and it debuts BYD's second-generation Blade battery along with a 1.1-metre head-up display. Buyers in China get their first chance to order from October 26, with deliveries following in November, so the cabin reveal is the last marketing step before sales begin.
