What Happened
Clinton Aluminum, the largest distributor of aluminum mold plate in North America, is putting Mack MD7 models to work hauling its heaviest materials. The company currently leases 17 Mack trucks, 14 of which are the MD7 model, and plans to convert its entire fleet of 34 vehicles to an all-Mack fleet. The Mack MD7 is a Class 7 medium-duty truck with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating of 33,000 pounds.
“Our drivers love the comfort and safety of the Mack trucks. It is their office when on the road. We drive as a fleet around 1,600,000 miles a year, and the Mack trucks are dependable and powerful to haul the weight of our product. Easy access to all the controls in the cab is a plus, keeping our drivers' eyes on the road.”
