What Happened
Contargo, a Mannheim-based transport company, has added 33 DAF XD Electric trucks to its fleet for container transport. The company has been working with DAF since 2019 and now operates nearly 100 fully electric trucks. The XD Electric tractors have a range of over 500 kilometers, thanks to five modular LFP battery packs.
