DENSO's CFP Calculation App First to Get ABtC Certification for Secure Data Platforms
2026

What Happened
DENSO Corporation announced that its Carbon Footprint (CFP) calculation application has received the Application Certification from the Automotive and Battery Traceability Center Association (ABtC). The certification recognizes that the application can securely connect to ABtC's data sharing platform under the Ouranos Ecosystem initiative. This enables companies to share and collaborate on CFP data while maintaining mutual trust.
DENSO had previously obtained EcoPass certification from Catena-X in February 2025. With both certifications, DENSO is the first company in the world to have a single application securely connect to both the Catena-X and Ouranos Ecosystem platforms. The CFP calculation application systematically calculates, manages, and verifies CO2 emissions across the entire product manufacturing process through data exchange with business partners.
DENSO obtained EcoPass certification from Catena-X.
DENSO's CFP calculation application received ABtC Application Certification for a planned two-year period.
