Marc Márquez secured his 100th Grand Prix win (his 74th in MotoGP) by winning the race at Balaton Park, giving the Ducati Lenovo Team their 100th MotoGP victory. Francesco Bagnaia finished third, earning his third consecutive podium. Márquez started from pole but lost the lead early, then gradually closed the gap to Pedro Acosta and overtook him on lap 15, pulling away for his first Sunday victory of the season.
After the race, Márquez said, 'We did an incredible job. The secret was managing the effort on Friday. Obviously, I gave it everything today and luckily the choice of the medium tyre paid off. This win came after a challenging period of surgeries and recovery, but it was worth it.' Bagnaia added, 'The podium is a good result, especially after the difficult start to the weekend, as it allowed us to score some important points.'
