What Happened

FAW Jiefang, the commercial vehicle arm of FAW Group, announced that its 6DV super factory has officially gone into operation in Dalian, northeast China’s Liaoning province. The factory started construction in July 2022 with a total investment of 620 million yuan and an annual production capacity of 50,000 engines. It utilizes green and energy-saving technologies, reducing carbon emissions by 9,249.54 tonnes and hazardous waste emissions by 106.5 tonnes every year.
