Force Motors lifts Q1 FY27 profit 23% as revenue passes Rs 2,440 crore

Force Motors reported a 22.8% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit for the June quarter, with operating revenue up 6.2%.

Q1 FY27 consolidated profit
Rs 216.59 crore
Year-on-year profit growth

Operating revenue
Rs 2,440.01 crore
Profit before tax
Rs 293.29 crore

What Happened

Force Motors made Rs 216.59 crore in consolidated profit during the first quarter of FY27, compared with Rs 176.36 crore a year earlier. Revenue from operations reached Rs 2,440.01 crore, while total income was Rs 2,478.11 crore.

Costs rose alongside sales. The company reported Rs 2,189.66 crore of total expenses, including Rs 1,749.03 crore in raw-material spending, and profit before tax increased to Rs 293.29 crore from Rs 277.71 crore.

The reported numbers include Veera Tanneries as a wholly owned subsidiary after Force Motors completed its purchase of the business under an April share-purchase agreement. On a standalone basis, Force Motors posted Rs 212.07 crore of profit and Rs 2,439.89 crore of operating revenue.

Why this matters

The result gives a current read on demand and cost pressure at an India-focused commercial-vehicle maker. The quarter also includes the first consolidated contribution from Veera Tanneries, which Force Motors acquired in April.
