What Happened
Force Motors made Rs 216.59 crore in consolidated profit during the first quarter of FY27, compared with Rs 176.36 crore a year earlier. Revenue from operations reached Rs 2,440.01 crore, while total income was Rs 2,478.11 crore.
Costs rose alongside sales. The company reported Rs 2,189.66 crore of total expenses, including Rs 1,749.03 crore in raw-material spending, and profit before tax increased to Rs 293.29 crore from Rs 277.71 crore.
The reported numbers include Veera Tanneries as a wholly owned subsidiary after Force Motors completed its purchase of the business under an April share-purchase agreement. On a standalone basis, Force Motors posted Rs 212.07 crore of profit and Rs 2,439.89 crore of operating revenue.
