What Happened
GAC Commercial Vehicle has brought the T9 electric tractor to IAA Transportation alongside the Montx P10 and V10 concepts. The company says the display covers both heavy and light commercial vehicles and includes work with Pony.ai on automated driving and Aulton on battery exchange.
The T9 Battery Swap EV uses a 603-kWh lithium-iron-phosphate battery and is rated for as much as 475 kilometres. GAC says Aulton’s equipment can replace the complete pack in roughly three to five minutes, depending on the operating setup.
