What Happened
Full-Domain AI 2.0 is an evolution from Geely's previous Full-Domain AI 1.0, shifting from fragmented, module-based intelligence toward a unified vehicle-wide AI architecture. It achieves deep integration of vehicle-level computing power, data, and models to establish a central intelligent engine, enabling intelligent systems across cockpit, chassis, safety, and driving domains to achieve mutual access and real-time interaction.
G-ASD (Geely Afari Smart Driving) is Geely's next-generation intelligent driving system that combines advanced AI, large-scale real-world driving data, and high-performance sensing and computing hardware to enhance safety and driving confidence in complex traffic scenarios, aiming to accelerate the transition to high-level autonomous driving.
“AI is reshaping the automotive industry in many ways, from powertrains and components to a systematic reconstruction of mobility ecosystems and lifestyles. Geely is committed to creating safe, sustainable, and intelligent mobility for the world.”
Why this matters
The upgrades show how automakers are moving from separate smart features to a single AI-powered architecture that manages cockpit, chassis, safety, and driving, bringing autonomous driving closer to reality.
