What Happened
Hyundai Motor Company and TVS Motor Company have signed a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) to advance the development and commercialization of Electric Three-Wheeler (E3W) solutions designed for India's last-mile mobility needs. The partnership follows the successful presentation of an E3W concept at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Under the agreement, Hyundai will lead design and co-develop the vehicle, while TVS will co-develop using its electric platform and lead local sales and manufacturing.
