Hyundai Motor Group Opens 7th VH AWARD for Media Artists Focused on Asia

What Happened
The open call runs from May 26 to July 21, 2026. Five finalists will each receive a production grant to create a new work and participate in an online residency program with Ars Electronica. A Grand Prix recipient will be announced in June 2027, receiving an additional $30,000 to support future artistic endeavors.

“Initiated in 2016, the VH AWARD has been supporting artists whose work engages with the context of Asia. The VH AWARD shares their artistic experiments and amplifies their voices on various issues through prominent global platforms, illuminating the region’s diverse cultures, histories and sensibilities through media art.”
