Hyundai puts rear-seat lounge kit across three Indian models

A rear-seat screen, a restyled cabin and small exterior tweaks now define a new top-end Lounge Edition across three Hyundai models in India.

Rear-seat screen size
29.46 cm (11.6 inches)
Creta Lounge Edition price range
Rs 19.21 lakh - Rs 20.45 lakh
Alcazar Lounge Edition price range
Rs 21.80 lakh - Rs 21.95 lakh
Creta Electric Lounge Edition price range
Rs 24.34 lakh - Rs 25.22 lakh

What Happened

Hyundai Motor India has added a Lounge Edition to three of its models: Creta, Alcazar and the battery-powered Creta Electric. The package focuses on second-row occupants, pairing an entertainment screen with a revised cabin and minor exterior changes. Hyundai also keeps its existing premium audio setup in the package. All three are on sale, with ex-showroom pricing that begins at Rs 19.21 lakh.

What the rear-seat screen offers
  • A screen measuring 29.46 cm (11.6 inches) is fitted for second-row passengers
  • It streams OTT content and video, and supports interactive gaming
  • Applications can be added through a certified app store
  • A phone can mirror to the display
  • It retains Bose's eight-speaker premium setup, with dedicated front-centre and low-frequency hardware
Cabin and exterior treatment
  • Silver-coloured inserts with a fresh upholstery pattern
  • Moonwhite mood illumination
  • Rear headrest cushions carrying Lounge branding
  • Black-finished exterior elements
  • A new Golden Bronze paint colour

Alcazar
Signature variant; 1.5-litre U2 CRDi diesel automatic with an exclusive five-seater layout
Creta Electric

Alcazar
Rs 21.80 lakh to Rs 21.95 lakh
Creta Electric
Rs 24.34 lakh to Rs 25.22 lakh

Hyundai's own Creta Electric features page lists an HD audio-video navigation unit measuring 26.03 cm (10.25 inches) on specified variants, plus wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth. Chosen variants can also be ordered with a second-row wireless charger for a smartphone. Hyundai Bluelink connected-car services are part of the equipment, along with over-the-air updates covering both map and infotainment software. The Bose audio package with eight speakers, a front central speaker and a subwoofer is listed as available on selected variants.

Why this matters

The package gives buyers in India a chauffeured-style rear cabin on models that are already mainstream family choices, rather than a standalone new vehicle. It also widens the price ladder Hyundai can charge, from roughly Rs 19 lakh to about Rs 25 lakh ex-showroom, so shoppers comparing the three nameplates face a broader spread of trims and equipment.
