Kia India moved 29,042 vehicles through wholesale channels in August 2026, compared with 19,608 units in the same month last year. The increase was 48.1 percent.
The company’s January-to-August wholesale tally reached 220,991 vehicles, up 20.1 percent year on year from 183,882 units.
Kia identified its Seltos and Sonet nameplates as the principal volume contributors. It also pointed to early interest in the recently launched Syros EV and ownership programmes intended to lower the barriers to electric-car adoption.
Kia plans to introduce the Sorento in India on September 4. The three-row SUV will be offered with hybrid and diesel powertrains.
