What Happened
Presented alongside the automaker's national portfolio presentations, the concept model serves as Kia's inaugural flex-fuel technology demonstration for the Indian passenger vehicle sector. The vehicle is calibrated to ingest neat petrol, pure ethanol, and intermediate ethanol-petrol mixtures without mechanical reconfiguration.

Propulsion relies on an adapted 1.0-litre three-cylinder direct-injection turbocharged petrol powerplant. Engineers revised the engine control computer, transmission management programming, and fuel delivery plumbing to withstand the corrosive tendencies and distinct combustion characteristics of high-concentration alcohol fuels.
In place of the seven-speed dual-clutch transmission deployed in standard production models, the flex-fuel prototype installs a six-speed hydraulic torque-converter automatic gearbox configured to handle the altered torque delivery of ethanol blends. Kia has designated the vehicle as an engineering demonstrator with commercialization timing contingent on domestic fuel infrastructure availability.
