What Happened
Assembly kicked off at the Figueruelas manufacturing center in Zaragoza through the Leapmotor International venture, in which Stellantis controls a 51% stake. Founder Zhu Jiangming and venture chief executive Danilo Annese announced the production start during the Paris Motor Show.

The B10 crossover shares the Paris presentation floor with the European premiere of the A05 hatchback, measuring 4,200 mm in length with battery options of 39.8 kWh and 53 kWh. European buyers also gain integration with Stellantis' Free2move Charge system, providing charging access at more than 1 million public points.
The manufacturing launch follows an earlier Polish assembly trial that ended in early 2025. Nine-month global deliveries reached 666,539 vehicles, expanding 68.52% year-on-year and exceeding the automaker's entire 2025 total of 596,555 units.
Why this matters
Establishing European manufacturing through Stellantis allows Leapmotor to avoid European Union import levies on Chinese-built electric vehicles. The localized production site anchors the brand's international offensive as it targets one million global deliveries across 2026.
