What Happened
The Enviro400 bus, 11.5m long and seating 85, is painted in Lochs Motor Transport's white livery with 'Isle of Lewis' branding. It will primarily shuttle cruise passengers from Stornoway's new terminal to the town centre, and also serve school and private hire duties. This is the sixth Enviro400 delivered to the operator, following five in 2024 and 2025, which were the first double-deckers on Lewis and Harris.

“Our double-deck Enviro400 buses have performed brilliantly on the Stornoway shuttle service, forming a vital part of the island experience for our cruise visitors, with a comfortable ride and panoramic views.”
Why this matters
The bus increases capacity for cruise visitors to Stornoway, supporting tourism on the Isle of Lewis and the Outer Hebrides, which rely heavily on visitor spending.
