“Mack customers don’t have time for unplanned stops, and neither do we. Partnering with Corning to bring Fusion5 Glass to heavy-duty trucking isn’t just about using better materials; it’s about finding every possible way to keep our customers’ trucks on the job and their costs under control.”
The ImpactShield is a one-piece bonded curved windshield designed for durability and damage resistance. It is standard on the all-new Mack Granite and will be available as an upgrade on other Mack models including the Pioneer, Anthem, and Keystone.
Why this matters
The ImpactShield offers 2x better sharp impact and thermal shock resistance and 5x better scratch resistance than standard windshields, reducing downtime and replacement costs for fleet operators.
