What Happened
Mack Trucks debuted the Mack ImpactShield windshield technology on the all-new Mack Granite at ConExpo-Con/Agg 2026. The one-piece bonded curved windshield uses Corning Fusion5 Glass, engineered to withstand sharp impact strikes and harsh conditions. It is standard on the new Granite, with production starting January 2027 at Mack's Lehigh Valley Operations facility.

The ImpactShield windshield will also be available as an upgrade on the Mack Pioneer, all-new Mack Anthem, and Mack Keystone models. Mack customers can order the new Granite in the latter half of 2026.
