What Happened

Exactly two years after launching its financial services business, MAN FinancialServices (MAN FS) reports that it now finances almost one in three MAN vehicles sold in the markets it serves. A total of around 41,800 vehicles have been financed to date. For newly registered MAN eTrucks, MAN FS financed more than every second vehicle in the first half of 2026, which the company says underscores the importance of attractive financing for the ramp-up of electric mobility.

We want to support our customers as best we can when they enter electromobility. Our offers are well received in the market. In addition, we are continuously working on the further development of new financial and service solutions and on innovative concepts for charging infrastructure that are specifically tailored to the requirements of e-mobility.
Gerard van Keulen, Head of MAN FinancialServices

MAN FS provides integrated leasing, financing and insurance solutions that, combined with tailored MAN service contracts, create a comprehensive full-service package from one source. Two years after launching in 2024, the unit is now present in 19 countries – more than double the number at the start – including Belgium, Denmark, Germany, France, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Norway, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Spain, the Czech Republic, Morocco, Mexico, South Africa and South Korea. These markets account for roughly 82 percent of MAN's sales volume, and MAN FS says it will continue to expand its international presence.

Why this matters

Financing reduces the upfront cost of new trucks, making electric models more accessible for fleet operators. MAN says such offers are vital for the e-mobility ramp-up, and MAN FS now serves markets representing 82% of MAN's sales volume, giving customers in 19 countries access to leasing, financing and insurance for eTrucks.
