What Happened
The MAN eTGM is a new 16-ton electric distribution truck that debuted on May 13, 2026 at the Transpotec Logitec trade fair in Milan. It completes MAN's electric truck portfolio, which now spans from 12 to 50 tons gross vehicle weight, based on a modular, cross-series technology platform.
The eTGM offers a chassis payload of up to 10.6 tons and a maximum combination weight of 33 tons. It is powered by the MAN eCD210 electric drive delivering 210 kW (285 hp) and 800 Nm, paired with the MAN TipMatic 2 transmission. A modular battery system with two to four packs provides up to 320 kWh usable capacity for a range of up to 480 km.
Customers benefit from significant toll advantages in many European markets for vehicles over 16 tons, and the eTGM helps reduce fleet emissions to meet EU CO2 targets. Its high recuperation power improves energy efficiency, especially in stop-and-go urban traffic.
