Previously from Mazda
Mazda's previous monthly release, covering July 2026, reported global production up 21.3% year on year while global sales fell 6.7%. August's results show production still growing, at a slower 6.2%, with global sales holding almost exactly level.

Why this matters
Monthly production and sales results are the clearest public snapshot of how many cars Mazda builds and sells, and in August the two moved in different directions: output grew while global sales were flat, and sales for the year to date are down 4.4%. The data also shows which models Mazda is leaning on — the CX-5 leads domestic production, exports and global sales — and how sharply regional demand is swinging, from a 44.2% jump in Europe to an 8.9% decline in the USA.
