Honda says speed of software development will be one of its key competitive advantages.
Manufacturing & Supply Chain
BYD built its 150,000th electrified commercial vehicle on October 9, marked by a Q3 heavy battery-electric tractor leaving its Huai'an, Jiangsu province assembly line. The company reported 53,032 commercial units delivered from January through September 2026, a 28.46 percent year-on-year increase, across electric delivery vans, municipal vocational chassis and heavy tractors. Schaeffler began series production of NOx sensors for gasoline vehicles in Europe, based on its diesel sensor technology, which it says helps automakers comply with future emissions standards such as EURO 7. The standard covers real-world driving emissions, system durability and performance over a vehicle's life cycle, and the sensor continuously measures nitrogen oxide in the exhaust and generates a lambda signal.
