What Happened
The new Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 4MATIC+ and GLE 53 HYBRID 4MATIC+ are now available to order from sales partners or online. The models feature an expressive design update, an enhanced 3.0-litre inline six-cylinder engine, and a newly tuned suspension for more assured performance. Entry-level prices start at €120,047.20 for the SUV and €126,372.05 for the Coupé, with hybrid versions starting at €128,781.80 and €135,106.65 respectively.
The 3.0-litre inline-six engine produces 330 kW (449 hp) and 600 Nm of torque. In the 48-volt version, a second-generation integrated starter-generator supports short-term boosting with 17 kW (23 hp). The hybrid variant pairs the engine with a 135 kW (184 hp) electric motor for a system output of 430 kW (585 hp) and 750 Nm, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. The hybrid offers an electric range of 88-93 km and can reach speeds up to 140 km/h in electric mode.
