What Happened
From July 4 to August 30, 2026, Mercedes-Benz presents its 'Sommerzuhause' (summer home) in Kampen on the island of Sylt. Located at Kurhausstraße corner Hauptstraße, the space blends design, cuisine, and electric mobility. The concept builds on last year's experience and is tailored to guest needs, emphasizing personal encounters and hospitality.
Local partner STURMHAUBE Sylt handles the culinary offerings. The weekly program runs Wednesday to Saturday and includes yoga, culinary workshops, creative experiences, and talks. Highlights include the Longevity Days with Nils Behrens, podcasts, and Spiegel bestseller author, featuring talks on health and well-being. Musical After-Beach sessions with DJs and children's activities round out the program.
Mercedes-Benz showcases its electric vehicle portfolio, including the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé, and the electric versions of the GLC, VLE, and G-Class. The new electric C-Class will be available for test drives from August. Additionally, a limited-edition 'Porter Tote – Sylt Edition' tote bag, created in collaboration with Berlin label VEE Collective, is available at the pop-up and online.
“With the Sommerzuhause in Kampen, we create a place that brings together Mercedes-Benz and the Sylt lifestyle in a very personal way. It's about offering our guests real hospitality – a space for exchange, relaxation, and inspiration where they feel welcome and can arrive.”
