MINI Countryman Untamed Edition adds off-road hardware, roof tent and camping gear
MINI is expanding its Countryman range with the Untamed Edition, a more rugged variant adding a suspension lift, all-terrain tyres, ALL4 all-wheel drive and a co-developed roof tent.

What Happened
MINI is expanding its largest model range with the Untamed Edition, a particularly rugged, adventure-focused Countryman that adds increased ground clearance in selected markets, newly developed all-terrain tyres, intelligent ALL4 all-wheel drive and exclusive design and equipment features. A suspension lift of 15 millimetres raises ground clearance by up to 19 millimetres depending on market and powertrain variant, and approach and breakover angles have been optimised. ABS, DSC and steering systems are specifically calibrated to the revised suspension setup and the all-terrain tyres, and MINI says that combined with ALL4 the edition delivers enhanced traction and confident handling across a wide range of surfaces. At launch the edition will be available, depending on market, for the MINI Countryman C, Countryman D and Countryman S ALL4, as well as for the all-electric Countryman E and Countryman SE ALL4. An optional tow bar allows a towing capacity of up to 2,000 kilograms, while roof load capacity is up to 75 kilograms while driving and up to 300 kilograms when stationary.

- A roof tent developed jointly with Italian specialist AUTOHOME that opens in seconds thanks to integrated gas struts, is handcrafted in Italy with a glass-fibre reinforced construction and offers weather-resistant materials, panoramic openings and a thoughtfully designed interior.
- An exclusive camping collection created with outdoor equipment specialist HELINOX, including folding chairs and camping tables.

Inside, the edition is centred on Vescin Nightshade Blue sports seats that combine premium perforated Vescin upholstery with knitted surfaces in the shoulder and headrest areas, a structured knit pattern inspired by rock formations and piping and decorative stitching in Cornflower Blue with an integrated Untamed mountain-panorama logo. Knitted surfaces on the dashboard and door panels use the Millennial Melange colour tone, which combines dark grey shades with a rich blue base, and interior accents have been changed from Vibrant Silver to Dark Steel, with additional Cornflower Blue details on the steering wheel strap, steering wheel spoke and selected elements. The redesigned centre console storage box has a more robust geometry and elastic retaining straps that consciously reference premium outdoor equipment such as backpacks and climbing gear. Rubber floor mats and a matching luggage compartment mat feature a three-dimensional pattern inspired by natural rock formations.
