Mobileye to Supply Cloud-Enhanced ADAS for Select Stellantis Vehicles Starting 2027

Mobileye's crowd-sourced REM technology will power hands-free driving features in select future Stellantis models, expanding hands-free availability through real-time road intelligence.

What Happened

Mobileye announced that its Cloud-Enhanced ADAS technology, powered by REM Road Experience Management, will be integrated into select future Stellantis vehicles starting in 2027. The system uses crowdsourced data from over 8 million vehicles covering 34 billion miles to provide real-time road intelligence. First applications are expected in select US models, with additional integration to follow based on vehicle platform and configuration.

>95%of public roads in US and Europe

Crowdsourced data from over 8 million vehicles

We're proud to expand our work with Stellantis, bringing a new level of intelligence to the vehicle itself through REM and the EyeQ6L. Cloud-enhanced ADAS plays a core role in our lineup of advanced technologies, from Surround ADAS through fully autonomous vehicles, that enables safety and convenience features in a vertically integrated package at a cost-efficient scale.
Nimrod Nehushtan, Mobileye Executive Vice President of Business Development and Strategy

REM technology uses front-facing cameras in EyeQ-equipped vehicles to gather anonymized data about road features, which is processed in the cloud and sent back to vehicles. This enables features like intelligent lane keeping on unmarked roads and hands-free, eyes-on driving in designated areas. The global crowdsourcing fleet ensures continuous updates, reflecting changes such as road construction.

Previously from Mobileye

Mobileye has multiple initiatives planned for 2027: it will launch its own robotaxi fleet with 100 vehicles in a U.S. city, and has secured a major DMS production program with a leading U.S. automaker for millions of vehicles.

Background drawn from MotorClaw's earlier coverage of Mobileye's official releases.

Why this matters

This partnership brings advanced hands-free driving to more consumers, leveraging data from millions of vehicles to improve safety and convenience. Stellantis joins a growing network of automakers using Mobileye's REM technology, which already covers over 95% of public roads in the US and Europe.
