What Happened
MV Agusta announces its first official participation in Wheels and Waves in Biarritz, an iconic international event blending performance, custom culture, art, and lifestyle. The presence stems from synergy between the company, its French subsidiary, and dealer partner MV Agusta Bayonne, part of a strategy to engage key communities.
Inside the Wheels and Waves village, MV Agusta will present its 2026 lineup, including the Brutale Serie Oro and Superveloce 1000 AGO. Visitors can experience the bikes through demo ride sessions. Additionally, a selection of historic vehicles will be on display, such as a rare MV Agusta CSS 175/204 cc from 1958.
MV Agusta will also compete in two races: the Punk's Peak Race with the Superveloce 1000 Serie Oro, and the Vintage Rally with the MV Agusta 125 Regolarità of 1968. Chief Brand & Marketing Officer Filippo Bassoli will ride in the Vintage Rally, emphasizing the brand's personal connection to the event.
“Wheels and Waves represents far more than a motorcycle event: it is a place where culture, creativity and passion come together in an authentic way. For MV Agusta, this debut holds a special meaning, as it allows us to tell the full story of the brand within a single context: the technological innovation of the 2026 lineup, alongside the historical and identity value of our classic motorcycles.”
Why this matters
This debut allows MV Agusta to directly engage with an international community of enthusiasts, highlighting its blend of innovation, competition, and historical heritage in a single event.
