Nissan has not released technical details. Electrive says the small Nissan is derived from Renault's Twingo Electric and uses the RGEV Small architecture, known in an earlier phase as AmpR Small. That Twingo measures 3.79 metres long and, in base form, pairs a 27.5 kWh battery with a 60 kW front-wheel-drive system for a 262 km range. Autocar expects the Nissan to match its French sibling closely, with an 80 bhp front-mounted motor, the same battery capacity and roughly 155 miles of range, and pricing near £17,000.
