What Happened
NRG Riverside is celebrating its 30th anniversary, marking three decades of growth and investment in fleet, infrastructure, and people. The company now operates from 17 locations across the UK, with recent additions including depots in Waltham Cross and Newport. Over the last ten years alone, NRG Riverside has purchased approximately 2,000 Dennis Eagle vehicles and bodies.
“Reaching 30 years is a significant milestone for the business. As the industry continues to evolve, we’re committed to investing in the capability, technology, and people needed to ensure we deliver consistent, high-quality service for our customers across the UK.”
The company is also investing heavily in its workforce, with an apprenticeship programme supporting over 30 apprentices and leadership pathways to upskill existing staff. NRG Riverside's fleet includes a wide range of refuse collection vehicles, skip and hook loaders, food waste vehicles, and more, supported by a 24/7 hub in Skelmersdale and 24 mobile engineers.
