Previously from Subaru

Our earlier coverage reported that Subaru of America posted a 13.2 percent rise in United States deliveries for September 2026, selling 52,056 vehicles on record monthly Forester volume. That US result sits alongside the Japan sales figures in Subaru's latest monthly report, which cover its home market rather than North America.

Why this matters

The figures show Subaru's overseas assembly lines swinging back up while its home market shrinks, which matters for the plants building export volumes and for Japanese dealers. They also frame a weaker first half of fiscal 2027, when global production, domestic output and exports all declined year on year.
