Suzuki Motor Corporation and its Indian subsidiary Suzuki R&D Center India Private Limited (SRDI) held the opening ceremony of the BANAS SUZUKI BIOGAS PLANT in Vinchhivadi, Banaskantha district, Gujarat, on 26 August 2026. The plant produces and sells biogas for CNG vehicles and organic fertilizer. It is Suzuki's third biogas plant, following the Agthala plant, which opened in December 2025, and the Bhukhala plant, which opened in January 2026.
