Suzuki's Employee Racing Team Finishes 7th at Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Race

What Happened

Team SUZUKI CN CHALLENGE, a racing team composed of Suzuki employees including new members selected through internal recruitment, completed the 47th edition of the Suzuka 8 Hours endurance race in 7th place. The race, part of the 2026 FIM Endurance World Championship, was held at the Suzuka Circuit in Mie Prefecture from July 3 to 5.

Starting from the 13th grid position after qualifying, the team faced harsh and changing weather with three Safety Car periods. All three riders delivered consistent performances, and at one point Ryo Mizuno set the team's fastest lap. The team finished 7th, surpassing its previous best result.

The team's objective is to achieve both further reductions in environmental impact and enhancements in riding performance at a high level, while expanding the application of sustainable materials. The knowledge and experience gained from the race will be used to provide technical feedback for future product development.
