Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. announced on March 12, 2026, that Chairman and Director Katsuaki Watanabe has requested to withdraw his candidacy for reappointment as a Director upon the expiration of his current term for personal reasons. The Board of Directors, at its meeting on March 11, decided to partially withdraw and amend the resolution proposal for the 91st Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders scheduled for March 25, 2026. As a result, Watanabe will retire at the conclusion of the meeting.
