What Happened
At the exhibition, Yutong presented the IC12E for intercity routes with a 675 km range and 465 kWh battery, the U10 and U18 for urban trunk lines, and the E7S microcirculation bus with ultra-low energy consumption of 0.34 kWh/km. The vehicles are backed by Yutong EV Long-life Tech, offering a design life of 15 years or 1.5 million kilometers.
Yutong has already delivered over 300 new energy buses to Italy since 2019. In the Trentino region, the U12 completed a 200 km challenge under extreme cold and steep slopes, while the E9 and E10 serve as green transport symbols in Cremona.
Why this matters
Yutong's full-scenario BEV lineup addresses Italy's need for green public transport, from long-distance intercity buses to last-mile shuttles, supporting the country's shift to zero-emission mobility.
