Audi Opens Bookings in India for the Third-Generation Q3
Audi has opened Indian bookings for the third-generation Q3 at Rs 1 lakh, with prices due next month for the locally assembled premium SUV.

What Happened
Audi India is accepting reservations for the new Q3 through its website, the myAudi connect app and dealerships. The booking amount is Rs 1 lakh, while prices are expected to be announced in October.
Audi lists the India-spec SUV at 4,531 millimeters in length, 1,859mm in width and 1,623mm in height; the wheelbase is 2,681mm. Its equipment list includes a 12.8-inch central display, an 11.9-inch driver screen, wireless smartphone connectivity, a panoramic roof and a 360-degree camera.
Power comes from a 2-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 204hp, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox and Audi's quattro all-wheel-drive system. Audi quotes a 7.1-second 0-to-100kph time and a 229kph top speed.
The new Q3 will be assembled in India and will sit against rivals such as BMW's X1 and Mercedes-Benz's GLA. Audi currently lists the outgoing Q3 from Rs 43.67 lakh to Rs 53 lakh ex-showroom.
Why this matters
The Q3 is Audi's entry point into India's luxury-SUV market, and the booking opening gives the brand an early pipeline before the new model's price announcement. The India-spec version also retains a conventional petrol and quattro configuration rather than moving to an electric-only launch.
