Brent Van doninck's MXGP of Sweden ended early on Sunday when he was involved in a first-turn incident in race 2. After an initial check-up at the medical centre on site, the Fantic Factory Racing MXGP rider returned to Belgium and underwent further medical examinations on Tuesday morning, which confirmed the full extent of the injury: four fractured ribs.
