BYD Denza N8 Reveals 1.1-Meter Display and 1,003-Kilometer Electric Range Ahead of Launch
BYD's Denza N8 has shown its cabin before reaching Chinese showrooms, pairing a 1.1-meter dashboard display with five seats and up to 1,003 kilometers of CLTC electric range.

What Happened
An August 31 Denza image gives the first official look at the N8's cabin. The five-seat SUV uses a 1.1-meter panoramic display under the windshield, a separate 30-inch touchscreen, and a driver-monitoring camera mounted on the A-pillar.
The N8 measures 5,150 millimeters long with a 3,075-millimeter wheelbase. Its range of powertrains runs from a 320-kilowatt rear motor to a tri-motor all-wheel-drive version rated at 890 kilowatts.
Two LFP battery packs, sized at 105.792 kWh and 130.15 kWh, give the N8 a stated CLTC range of 800 to 1,003 kilometers. The SUV can charge from 10% to 97% in nine minutes using Denza's flash-charging system.
The Denza N8 is due to enter the Chinese market shortly. CarNewsChina reported that Denza delivered 18,060 vehicles in China in July, citing China EV DataTracker, but the article did not give a final N8 launch price.
Why this matters
The N8 is Denza's latest attempt to move a high-output electric SUV into the premium full-size segment. Its interior reveal also puts the model's large-screen cockpit, battery choices, and rapid charging capability on the record before pricing and final launch details arrive.
