What Happened
BYD's UK operation has launched an Approved Repair network across the country alongside Vizion Network. The programme is already live, with 138 approved repairers taking part. Each site will be staffed by technicians trained in BYD repair methods and will fit genuine BYD parts. BYD states the goal is that every vehicle is repaired to its own standards, and it frames the scheme as a reinforcement of its commitment to customer care.

The arrangement is also designed to give owners a clear route to trained repairers, factory parts and approved working methods. Vizion brings an existing UK repair footprint to the arrangement; BYD calls the partner the largest repair network in the country. The manufacturer says repairs carried out under the scheme meet its own standards.
“This is another important milestone for BYD. As more BYD vehicles take to UK roads, one of our key priorities is getting our customers' damaged cars back on the road as quickly as possible.”
- Six-year vehicle warranty
- Servicing and upkeep assistance
- Manufacturer-supplied replacement parts
- Roadside cover included for the first four years
Owners can track down their closest approved repairer by keying a postcode into an online search tool that BYD has set up for the network. BYD presents the repair programme as one piece of a broader ownership experience intended to keep customers supported for as long as they run the vehicle.
Why this matters
The network addresses a practical question for buyers of a newer brand: where a damaged car gets fixed and how it is repaired. BYD says approved sites use genuine parts and processes it has taught, and it ties the programme to its warranty, maintenance and roadside cover. The work is routed through Vizion Network, which BYD describes as the UK's largest repair network.
