What Happened

BRP's Can-Am brand unveiled updates across its entire 2027 3-wheel lineup, announced August 17, 2026 in Valcourt, Quebec. The 2027 Ryker models receive what the company calls the most significant evolution of the platform since its 2018 debut, with improvements to handling, stability, powertrain, technology, and styling. Spyder and Canyon models also get fresh color options and touring enhancements.

For the Ryker, the major updates include increased chassis rigidity, a reinforced steering system, a recalibrated Vehicle Stability System (VSS), and refined aerodynamics. The exterior gets revised body panels, new LED headlights, fresh color options, and redesigned wheels. A new 5-inch color display and handlebar-mounted controls improve visibility and access to vehicle information.

2027 Ryker packages
  • Standard Ryker: entry-level package for riders new to the category.
  • Ryker Sport: adds performance and comfort-focused features.
  • Ryker Special Series: one-year-only package based on the Sport with exclusive panels, wrap kits, Liquid Titanium wheels, premium suspension, a unique seat, and Akrapovič exhaust.

The 2027 Spyder and Canyon lineups receive updated colorways, including Dolomite Grey for Spyder RT Sea-to-Sky and Spyder F3 Limited Special Series, and Sandstone for the award-winning Canyon Redrock. The Spyder F3-S gets a Liquid Titanium frame and trim with Monolith Black Satin bodywork. The Spyder RT Sea-to-Sky adds a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), premium seat materials, and branded front and rear travel bags.

Can-Am is also expanding connectivity with BRP GO! On-Road Navigation for compatible vehicles with the 10.25-inch display, supported on Android and iOS. The system offers turn-by-turn navigation, route planning, points of interest, ride information, and friend-tracking through the BRP GO! app, delivered via software update and requiring no headset. Can-Am continues to grow its LinQ accessory ecosystem and the 3-Wheel Collective online community hub.

One of the things we’re most proud of is the Ryker’s ability to attract riders who may never have considered powersports before. In the last 12 months alone, nearly half of new Ryker owners were new to motorcycling and more than a third were women.

Previously from BRP Inc.

In June 2026, Can-Am introduced BRP GO! on-road navigation for its 10.25-inch touch display on motorcycles and 3-wheel vehicles, supporting Android and iOS without a headset. The new 2027 lineup builds on that launch, bringing the feature to more Can-Am 3-wheel riders.

Background drawn from MotorClaw's earlier coverage of BRP Inc.'s official releases.

Why this matters

The Ryker is Can-Am's entry point into 3-wheel riding, and recent buyers are largely newcomers: nearly half were new to motorcycling and more than a third were women. By making the entry model more refined and connected, Can-Am aims to keep lowering the barrier to 3-wheel ownership. The update also brings BRP GO! navigation to compatible models, giving riders turn-by-turn guidance without a headset.
