Dongfeng Fengxing rolls out first Xinghai V6 with Huawei ADS 5 SE
Dongfeng Liuzhou Motors has started production of the Xinghai V6, a six-seat electric SUV listed in pre-sale at RMB 104,900 and up, fitted with Huawei's ADS 5 SE.

What Happened
Dongfeng Liuzhou's passenger-vehicle plant produced the first Xinghai V6 carrying Huawei's Qiankun ADS 5 SE package on August 18. The electric SUV is due to start deliveries after production ramps up, with pre-sales from RMB 104,900.
A 25-device sensor suite supports the six-seat vehicle: it combines cameras, ultrasonic radar and millimetre-wave radar. The package supports highway navigation assistance, urban lane cruising and automated parking, but does not use lidar.
Dongfeng Liuzhou and Huawei have worked together since 2019. Their 2026 agreement made the Xinghai V6 the first production model under the latest cooperation, followed by a plan to build a smart manufacturing facility together.
Why this matters
The production milestone moves Huawei's lower-cost assisted-driving package from a headline feature into customer deliveries. For Dongfeng Fengxing, the V6 is an attempt to make a large family EV and advanced software accessible at a mainstream price.
