Donkervoort P24RS Designer Jordi Wiersma Blends Heritage and Aerodynamics

What Happened
Jordi Wiersma has been Donkervoort's interior and exterior designer for almost two decades. He works alongside design advisor Amko Leenarts and CEO Denis Donkervoort to ensure every design decision reflects Donkervoort's heritage and future. Wiersma splits his time between Bilbao, Barcelona, and Donkervoort HQ in Lelystad.

For the new P24RS, aerodynamics were integrated from the beginning. Wiersma explains that every millimeter of the bonnet lets more air in and out, and exhaust tips were moved to the side to aid airflow around front wheels. Even the headlights were designed with aerodynamics in mind. The result is a dual-nature car: a sleek road supercar that transforms into a track-ready machine.
