Fantic Factory Racing Debuts with Strong Results at Internazionali d'Italia Pre-Season Race

What Happened
Fantic Motor's new MXGP structure, managed by Jacky Martens, saw its first official race at the Internazionali d'Italia in Alghero, Sardinia. Alberto Forato and Brent Van doninck both placed in the top six during time practice, and Forato finished fourth overall after two races. In the 125 class, Fantic Factory Racing EMX riders Bertram Thorius and Gennaro Utech also had encouraging starts, with Thorius taking second place in race 2.
“Pre-season races give us important indications to prepare as well as possible for the upcoming MXGP World Championship, and we can be fairly satisfied. We had good starts, with both Fantic XXF 450 bikes always inside the top 6. In both races, we were in the fight for third place... Alberto then secured fourth overall in his comeback race after a long period of recovery and rehabilitation.”
