What Happened
Kawasaki Heavy Industries announced a contract with New Zealand-based Salus Aviation to supply two H145//BK117 D-3 helicopters. The aircraft represent the first delivery of the model to the Oceania region and bring the cumulative order total for the BK117 D-3 to 43 units, including international sales. The companies previously signed a Framework Agreement in November 2025 to cooperate on sales and maintenance of the BK117 series.
