What Happened
KG Mobility held a two-day test drive event on April 8-9, 2026, at Area3 in Dreieich, Germany, with approximately 50 journalists and influencers. The event featured product presentations and test drives of the Actyon HEV, Torres HEV, and Musso EV, as well as displays of the Musso EV special edition, specialized vehicles, and Torres EVX. The test drive route included mountainous roads along the Rhine River and highway sections to highlight the models' strengths.
KGM exported 70,286 units last year, its highest in 11 years. In Germany, exports reached 6,213 units, a 548% increase from 2024, making it KGM's third-largest export market after Türkiye (13,337 units) and Hungary (9,508 units). Following the event, KGM plans full-scale sales of the Actyon HEV and gradual introduction of new models to boost sales through diverse marketing strategies.
“Western Europe is KGM’s largest export region, and Germany—where our European sales subsidiary is located—is our key market with significant influence on neighboring countries. Through new model launches, test drive events, and various marketing strategies, along with strengthened cooperation with our global sales network, we plan to further increase our sales volume.”
Why this matters
After a 548% rise in German exports in 2025, KGM is using this event to strengthen its position in Europe's key market, aiming to become a strong challenger in the import vehicle segment.
