Kia lowers the entry point for automatic Carens Clavis variants
Kia has expanded the Carens Clavis automatic line-up with new value-trim combinations for both turbo-petrol and diesel buyers.

What Happened
The lower end of Kia’s Carens Clavis range can now be ordered with automatic transmissions. Buyers can pair the HTE (O) with either the turbo-petrol engine and DCT or the diesel engine and automatic gearbox, while the HTE (EX) gains the turbo-petrol combination.
The three new combinations are priced from Rs 14.67 lakh to Rs 15.82 lakh ex-showroom. Kia is also offering an equipment pack with keyless entry, drive modes, push-button start, powered parking-brake control and remote starting.
Why this matters
More affordable automatic versions allow Kia to widen the reach of the three-row MPV without changing its core model range.
