The 60 new Alexander Dennis Enviro400XLB buses, built on Volvo B8L chassis, are 12.8m long – 1.3m longer than most of Lothian's current double-deckers. The extra length is used to create inclusive spaces on the lower deck, including two wheelchair and buggy spaces.
