What Happened
The 60 new Alexander Dennis Enviro400XLB buses, built on Volvo B8L chassis, are 12.8m long – 1.3m longer than most of Lothian's current double-deckers. The extra length is used to create inclusive spaces on the lower deck, including two wheelchair and buggy spaces. The buses will serve the East Coast Buses and Lothian Country operations, as well as the Airlink 100 airport service.
