What Happened

Mazda Motor Corporation announced organizational and personnel changes effective April 1, 2026. The changes affect the Corporate Strategy, Corporate Planning & Development, R&D, and Value Chain domains. The Business Innovation Office will be integrated into the Corporate Strategy Division, and the Cost Planning Innovation Office will be elevated to a division-level organization.

The executive structure will be reformed into two tiers: Corporate Leadership Executive Officers, who serve as CXOs and support the president, and Executive Officers (including Senior Executive Officers), who oversee execution closer to the frontlines. Over 20 executives received new assignments, and the new position of Senior Division Manager was introduced.
